The plug fits well, the quality of the rubber seems good (soft and flexible rubber) however, whether it is resistant to oil and grease I have not checked, but its contact with such an environment will be limited,
Reliable opinion
I own a motorcycle BMW R1150RT Year 2001 old but spring more comfortable I have not had. Bought the pin holding the pads fits perfectly and is protected from corrosion. In a word, the original there is nothing to attach to.
