TRW Lucas MEF clutch springs
Manufacturer: | TRW |
---|---|
Manufacturer id: | MEF144-5 |
General description
- MEF designation
- spirally wound
- made of hardened carbon steel
- are 10% harder than OEM springs
- harder springs prevent clutch slippage and premature wear of the entire system
- clutch springs are recommended to be replaced complete with disks
- replacing the clutch springs alone translates into premature disc wear
TRW spring sets consist of 3 to 6 pieces, depending on which motorcycle model they are cataloged for. When ordering a set for your motorcycle, you will receive the appropriate number of springs (it may happen that the set contains more discs/springs as it is dedicated to many models). The exact quantity is often presented in the manufacturer's code, expressed as a number preceded by a "-" sign.

Like advertised. They fit V-strom DL 1000 perfectly. I used this one on my other projects and never had any issues.
