General description

- crank pins are manufactured from hot rolled ASTM 4115 steel and hardened to 58-62Rc hardness
- state-of-the-art caged needle bearing design ensures longevity at high rpm
- uniquely designed large journal uses strategically placed lateral grooves and ventilation slots to minimize deformation of the bearing raceway at high rpm
- small ends are double drilled to provide additional lubrication and cooling for the pivot pin bearing, which is especially important when the piston bottom is close to the pivot pin bearing
- Shot-blasting to eliminate surface stress lines and smoothly connect the radii of the piston rod forgings
- double honing gives an ultra-round bearing surface for reliability at high rpm
- compatible with Hot Rods and OE crankshafts
- made in U.S.A.
