General description
- Gedore Automotive M8x1 glow plug tool set.
- Enables fast, precise and professional drilling of damaged or broken glow plugs.
- Allows you to re-cut, clean or repair the glow plug mounting threads and clean the glow plug bore
- The glow plug or glow plug head is reamed or drilled with a core bit
- The original thread is re-cut and cleaned using a special threader.
- If the fixing thread of the glow plug is damaged, it must be reamed to M10x1 size using an oversize threader.
- The centering and guiding bushings, combined with the base plate, ensure accurate and precise centering and guiding, as well as accurate drilling depth when drilling and repairing the thread.
- The remaining glow plug body is pulled out with a puller
- The glow plug hole, gasket set and glow plug channel are then cleaned with a cleaning tool.
- Suitable for:
- Mercedes-Benz CDI OM640 and 642 diesel engines with M8x1 glow plug thread.
