I put the coil on the MZ 250.2 ES TROPHY, late last autumn, so that the motorcycle, practically was already in "winter sleep". When I started riding with the new coil in March this year, unpleasant events began to happen, as the motorcycle had difficulty firing up, and while riding, unexpectedly stopped working. After a while, it was again somehow possible to start the engine, but the ride was uneventful, and I finally put the motor in the garage to determine the cause of the problems. Somewhat accidentally, I brought my hand close to the area of the coil when the motorcycle briefly fired up, and I nearly fell to the ground due to an electric shock, which instead of the spark in the spark plug, accumulated on my person. I don't know if this new coil had a puncture from the beginning, but it certainly does now. So, after using it for a short time, I know that this coil, is not suitable for operation. WSK 175 coil gives spark but the engine did not run properly. I put it in another motorcycle and the same thing, the engine only ran at idle and when I added gas it did not go into higher revs. After installing a used PRL coil, the moto runs without problems.
