The sealer is made of Teflon (inside the sealer, the place on which the crankshaft turns), which guarantees a reduction in friction, thus increasing resistance to heavy-duty operation. Viton (a.k.a. fluorine rubber) is characterized by dimensional stability and exhibits self-lubricating properties. The sealant material is resistant to, among other things, fuel, oils, high temperatures, acids, etc....
