General description

Application:
The surface to be treated must be free of dirt, oil, grease and silicone, but may be lightly covered with rust.
Only in the case of very thick layers of rust, above 5 mm, it may be necessary to clean the surface.
Apply only at temperatures above 5°C and leave for about 24 - 48 hours.
Always clean the surface with water before use.
Can be used even on damp surfaces and contains no harmful substances

2. Fertan Fedogel rust remover 750ml gel

General description
FERTAN® FeDoGel gel formulation for rust outbreaks.
Eliminates rust without sandblasting.
Harmless to plastic, rubber, chrome and paint.
A proven rust and corrosion removal product for more than two decades.
Can be used successfully on rusty, heavy rusts as well as shiny metal.
Water-based for environmental reasons.
Thanks to its gel-like structure, it adheres perfectly to vertical surfaces and prevents run-off.
Due to its fast reaction and high efficiency, tarnish and rust can be completely removed within minutes or, depending on the degree of corrosion, within hours.
The solvent-free formulation contains surfactants with built-in corrosion protection.
The formulation is biodegradable.
Application:
Before application, remove loose rust with a wire brush.
Then apply FERTAN FeDOGEL to the areas to be rusted off.
The layer applied should not exceed 3 mm. Protect the product from drying out.
After an appropriate period of time, wash off FeDOGEL with a sponge and sufficient water.
Depending on the severity of corrosion, this process may need to be repeated.
The rust-cleaned parts should be protected as soon as possible with a suitable anti-corrosive agent (MM30, FERPOX, waxes,...) against renewed corrosion.
