  I own a 2001 Honda XL Varadero 125. The purchased <PP-MD30> air filter, theoretically identical to the original, turned out to be 1mm too short and did not fit in the intended place. I came up with the idea to grind off part of the outer rim from the top, so the filter could be installed. I screwed on the cover and it works
