General description
- The SMX-S is the entry-level sports shoe model in the Alpinestars "closet". Many solutions are taken from the higher-end SMX-6 V2 model, but what differs most is the lack of a hinge. They are designed for sport and sport-touring riding. With a durable microfiber upper for comfort and fit, and incorporating many advanced protective features, inside and out, the SMX-S boots feature an ergonomic forefoot design, breathable padding and an exclusive Alpinestars rubber sole for optimal support and performance.
- Double-injected TPU shin guard, calf guard, heel guard, shifter pad and toe slider provide better impact protection and increase durability
- the slider features a new easy clip-on concept for faster and easier replacement
- The new exclusive blended rubber sole has a structured upper reinforcement that provides additional support in the instep area and guarantees better feel, traction and improved drainage in the rain
- lateral injected ankle construction in TPR thermoplastic rubber for superior comfort and impact resistance
- dual-density TPU ankle protectors are layered under the boot on the outside of the sides and medial side
- are CE certified
