General description

• The all-new SM3 Youth Helmet is anatomically designed and contoured specifically for youth and junior riders, primarily for MX, Enduro and Off-road riding. It features a range of technologies and innovations taken from Alpinestars’ adult helmet range to provide the optimal combination of performance, protection and comfort.

Technologies

• the shell contains a special blend of polymers reinforced with different thicknesses, which are designed to provide an optimal combination of impact protection and lightness
• the lightweight outer shell is made of technologically advanced, impact-resistant thermoplastic in three sizes
• the inner shell is made of composite fiber assembled between the outer shell and the EPS liner for maximum impact protection
• the interior and exterior surfaces have been designed to minimize the effects of oblique impacts
• The (ECE) version of the SM3 Youth helmet weighs 1060g and the (DOT) version weighs 1170g

Comfort

• fully removable inner lining, suitable for washing
• hypoallergenic and breathable inner helmet material
• different sizes of padding and cheek pads allow for a perfect fit

Safety

• DD rings are the safest and most durable helmet fastener
• Emergency cheek pad removal allows for safer helmet removal by a paramedic in the event of an accident
• precisely placed and reinforced metal strap attachments to the helmet shell
• internal EPS filling with different densities provides better impact absorption in the appropriate area of the helmet
• patented system ensures the release of the visor with the appropriate, pre-defined force, regardless of the angle of impact

Ventilation

• the innovative visor is designed to direct air directly to the inlets, ensuring better airflow
• maximum ventilation and high level of heat exchange thanks to 10 air inlets and 7 air outlets
