Olej stosowany w xjr 1300 RP10. Jeśli motocykl służy do turystycznej jazdy biorąc pod uwagę zlecenia serwisowe API to jest to prawidłowy wybór. Co ważne, w porównaniu do 5100 skrzynia biegów pracuje na 5000 przyjemniej. Biegi wskakują ciszej, a silnik pracuje mniej metalicznie - wynika to zapewne z niższego API. Trzeba pamiętać że motocykl ten zaprojektowano do olejów ze swojego czasu, a więc SL SJ. Przy wymianie co rok lub 6000 km niższe API nie stanowi problemu dla spokojnej jazdy.
