General description
- Rear sprocket carrier rubbers perform an extremely important function in the entire chain transmission system of most motorcycles. On their technical condition depends:
- riding comfort,
- the noise coming from the rear sprocket area,
- and above all
- the rate of wear of the entire drive train.
- The drive linkage rubbers are the "link" between the drive wheel and the rear wheel hub. They are made of deformation-resistant rubber. They dampen vibrations, especially during the engagement of the first gear and rapid acceleration.
- The absorber rubbers should be inspected at every possible opportunity. Most often when replacing a tire or drive set. If significant play or peeling of the outer layer of rubber is detected, they should absolutely be replaced. It is assumed that the life of this component is about 4-5 years.
- All the rubber of the taker has been assigned to motorcycles. They are usually supplied in sets. However, please note that some rubber models (mainly original parts) are supplied in pieces. In that case, you need to order the number of pieces appropriate to the motorcycle model.
- ALWAYS REPLACE ALL RUBBERS. REPLACING ONLY 1 OR 2 PCS. WILL CAUSE EVEN FASTER WEAR OF THE NEW ONES AND THOSE NOT REPLACED.
