General description
  • Starter battery, lead-acid, designed for installation in a motorcycle/scooter/quad.
  • The battery is supplied with an acid reservoir. The amount of acid is adapted to the specific battery model. To start the battery, unscrew the plugs and pour the appropriate amount of battery acid into each cell. However, before doing so, it is essential to remove the cap protecting the battery vent. After pouring, wait an hour and do not close the plugs. To form a battery, connect it to a charger and charge it with a current of 1/10 of its capacity. For example, an 8Ah battery should be charged with a current of 0.8 A.
  • After about 4 hours, the battery will be ready for use. Turn off the plugs and connect to the vehicle installation.
  • EIGHT RULES FOR THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE BATTERY:
  • 1. flood a new battery with electrolyte
  • 2. keep the battery clean
  • 3. protect the battery clamps with technical petroleum jelly
  • 4. check the level of electrolyte
  • 5) Replenish any deficiencies with distilled water
  • 6) In winter, disconnect the battery from the motorcycle system
  • 7. then store it in a cool but dry room
  • 8. if necessary, recharge with "small current".
  • NOTE!
  • On average, every second battery that is not suitable for further use after winter is damaged due to improper storage. Use an aerometer to check the density of the electrolyte in the battery. When the density is 1.20 kg/l or less - the battery needs charging. The degree of charge can be checked alternatively with a voltage meter. If it is 6.1V (6V battery) or 12.2V (12V battery), the battery should be recharged with a current equal to or less than 1/10 of the battery capacity. Example: an 8Ah battery should be charged with a current of 0.8A.
