I ride a 2016 Yamaha MT-03 and recently treated myself to the HifloFiltro HFA3106 air filter - and I'm really impressed with it. Installation was child's play, the filter fits well into the air filter housing without any trial and error or pressing. Just the way you want it - simply remove the old one, insert the new one, close the lid and you're done. The workmanship is first-class, as you would expect from HifloFiltro: clean seams, sturdy material and an all-round high-quality impression. In terms of performance, I definitely notice a small improvement. The throttle response is a bit more direct, the engine feels a bit freer when accelerating. I ride the MT-03 a lot in city traffic and also sometimes on winding country roads - with the new air filter, the throttle response subjectively feels a little more lively, without me having changed anything on the ECU or the exhaust. So there really does seem to be a noticeable difference due to the air flow. Another plus point is that the HFA3106 is in no way inferior to the original filter, but is much more attractive in terms of price. Especially if you do your own maintenance, you can save money here without sacrificing quality. The filter is manufactured to OEM standards and is even TÜV-tested, so you can be absolutely sure of its performance and durability. I've now used the air filter for several hundred kilometers, even in light rain and warmer temperatures - no problem, everything runs smoothly. If the filter gets dirty at any time, it will be replaced with the same one without hesitation. Conclusion: If you ride a Yamaha MT-03 (2016) and are looking for a reliable, precisely fitting and high-performance air filter, the HifloFiltro HFA3106 is the perfect choice. Broke off when tightening. Do not overtighten, if manual says 40 Nm do not tighten to spec. The magnet goes all the way down the bolt so there is very little material holding the head in place. Looked nice before the head fell on the floor though
