I ride a Yamaha MT-03 built in 2016 and after some research I deliberately chose the HifloFiltro HF204 oil filter - and I am absolutely satisfied! As soon as you unpack it, you notice that the filter makes a high-quality impression, clean workmanship, solid materials and everything looks well thought out. Installation went smoothly - it fits perfectly on my MT-03 without any fiddling. I had previously fitted the original filter from Yamaha and I don't see any difference in terms of quality, on the contrary: the HifloFiltro looks at least as good, if not better. What I particularly like is that the filter is TÜV-approved and complies with OEM specifications, so you can be sure that it is absolutely reliable in terms of filter performance. After the oil change with this filter (in combination with a high-quality 10W-40 oil), the engine ran smoothly and quietly again straight away. No leaks, not a drop of oil - everything was clean and tight. Even after several hundred kilometers, everything is as it was on the first day. Since then, I have the feeling that the engine runs a little smoother - whether this is purely subjective or actually due to the combination of fresh oil and this high-quality filter remains to be seen. But the driving experience is great! What's more, the price is unbeatable. Compared to the original part, the HF204 is a very inexpensive but absolutely equivalent (if not better) replacement in terms of quality. For anyone who maintains their MT-03 themselves and values reliable parts, this is a clear recommendation. I will definitely use the HifloFiltro HF204 again for my next oil change. Top quality, easy installation, good fit and a fair price-performance ratio - it doesn't get any better than this!
