If someone has little space, as I do, to do anything at the filter then such a head on the filter is salvation. It is a little more expensive than the standard version but worth every penny. The only big minus is that it did not fit completely in the holes - I had to widen the holes with a drill both at the top and bottom. Other than that, installation was easy.
