Used for Honda FT 500 1983. Fitted within the hour (after disassembly & preparation = removal of old bearings). Have used 50 mm pvc pipe to drive bottom cup in; tightness of fit was as it should be. Did not use the supplied washer but made my own of 30x36x3 mm so the original rubber seal could sit below the (inner part of) the bearing. Re-used the original bottom washer (0.8 mm thick) to shield the seal. The (upper) adjustment nut also carries a thin shield. I had to grind the spigot (for the shield, on the nut) to a chamfer, as it just touched the radius of the upper bearing inner ring. On the 3rd picture, where the shield lies under the nut: red arrows = grind inner dia of spigot, shield fits at outer dia (on top as depicted). Ordered a 2nd set for my Honda XBR 500.
