The Spidi Air DPS is the latest version of the air cushion vest, certified in accordance with En 1624-2:2013 FB, the only European standard specifying requirements for an air cushion used by motorcyclists.

The 26-liter cushion surrounds the neck and torso of the motorcyclist, increasing the safety of the most vulnerable areas in the event of an accident. Spidi Safety Lab has refined the DPS technology to the highest level of protection while maintaining ease of use. The certainty of mechanical activation, the extension of protection to the delicate neck area, the comfort provided by the low weight and the versatility of use represent a new definition of motorcycle safety.

Precision and safety

• activation and inflation: using a Kevlar® cord in a rubber warp connected to the motorcycle, guaranteeing safe and secure activation of the airbag in the event of sudden separation from the motorcycle
• when activated, the 26L air chamber activates around the motorcyclist, protecting the back, hips, chest and especially the neck area. More air, more surface area, more protected areas
• No interference from external elements that can reduce the effectiveness of the system (magnetic fields, radio waves, discharged battery, bad weather conditions: rain, cold, sand)
• the mechanical system does not require charging or maintenance
• Air DPS can be used at any time, without any worries
• activation time - filling in 0.2 seconds
• meets the requirements of EU Directive 89/686/EEC on PPE personal protective equipment

Comfort and ergonomics
