It does not fit my Simson. It does not have a cut-in due to which it does not give spark. Better to check the old magneto well and buy something better. Photo of old Magneto with characteristic cutout. I bought a new one without the notch but it had extra material inserted in the same place where the notch was and now the Simson has spark.

The carburetor fits a regular 4-speed 50cc engine without any problems, the only part that necessarily needed to be replaced was the main nozzle.
