The crankcase cover arrived very quickly and when I opened it I was impressed by how good it looked: sturdy and well finished. A little heavier than I expected (4200 g) because the three support bridges that brings to anchor it to the chassis of the bike are steel and not aluminum 4 mm as the oil pan. The 14 screws it comes with are also heavy. It has many more anchorages and supports to the chassis than the original of my Yamaha Ténéré 700 extreme 2024, which I disassembled totally dented. To solve this problem, I had to make a hole in the exhaust cover the size of the bracket (as shown in the photo). In my opinion, the skid plate should not even rest on the exhaust pipe because a hit on that side of the skid plate will always damage the exhaust against which it rests.
